I love all the titanium stuff as titanium is corrosion-resistant, strong but light in weight and overall it is highly luminous. Morpheus Tungsten Carbide Bracelet is so charming.

The value, rarity, and beauty of titanium jewelry not only comes from its mystique but from its design.

Most of what can be found in todays market is common alloys of various grades. A talented craftsman can create a ring or pendant using his skills with automated machine tools. Others give there jewelry a personal touch that comes from years of painstaking experience.

However there is only one source of the rarest, and most precious Titanium available in the world today. Its mystique is beyond comparison. It is composed of a Beta Alloy, the strongest and lightest of all Titanium Alloys, near 80,000 pounds per square inch in tensile strength higher than standard aircraft grades of titanium. This alloy is no longer made due to is great cost in manufacture. And to top that it was an actual part of the Worlds most aircraft, The record breaking SR-71 Blackbird.

The Blackbirds were operated by the CIA and USAF for high altitude MACH 3+ reconnaissance missions of the highest national priority and keeping America free.

All surviving Blackbirds are protected in the best aviation museum around the USA and one in the United Kingdom. All remaining SR-71 related materials and parts were shredded and disposed of 2 years ago by the defense department.

One man had the foresight to purchase a very limited amount of SR-71 Titanium for the future. This is now the only remaining SR-71 Titanium in existence.

His name is Dan Freeman at http://mach3ti.com
His jewelry is completely hand made from authentic parts of SR-71 Blackbirds that flew on top secret missions at 2,200 miles per hour at the edge of space.

Since the 2 years of its top secret de-classification no professional jeweler has been found to attempt creating jewelry from this material.
